Terms & Conditions

Last updated September 7, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Rahma mobile application, website, widgets, subscriptions, content, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By downloading, accessing, creating an account, or using Rahma, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Service.

1. About Rahma

Rahma is an Islamic lifestyle and worship application designed to provide access to features that may include Quran reading, Quran audio, Tafsir, Hadith, Duas, prayer times, Qibla direction, Islamic calendar information, bookmarks, memorization tools, progress tracking, notifications, widgets, and related features.

Features may change, be added, or be removed over time.

2. Religious Information Disclaimer

Rahma is designed to support users in their religious practice and learning.

However, Rahma is not a substitute for qualified religious scholarship or guidance.

Translations, Tafsir, Hadith classifications, prayer calculations, Islamic dates, and other religious information may differ between scholars, traditions, jurisdictions, calculation methods, or sources.

Where an important religious matter depends on interpretation or local practice, users should consult a trusted scholar or appropriate religious authority.

3. Quran and Islamic Content

Rahma strives to present Quranic and Islamic content accurately.

Nevertheless, users should report any suspected textual, translation, transcription, attribution, or technical error to us so that it can be reviewed.

Where third-party translations, Tafsir, Hadith collections, recitations, or other content are used, rights remain with their respective owners or licensors where applicable.

4. Prayer Times

Prayer times provided by Rahma are calculated using geographic location, time zone, calculation methods, and related data.

Prayer times may vary according to local authorities, calculation conventions, altitude, geographic conditions, and jurisprudential preferences.

Users are responsible for verifying prayer times where precision is important.

5. Qibla Direction

The Qibla feature may rely on location services, compass sensors, device calibration, and magnetic data.

Environmental conditions, magnetic interference, device hardware, or incorrect calibration may affect accuracy.

Rahma does not guarantee that the Qibla direction displayed will always be exact.

6. Islamic Calendar

Islamic calendar dates displayed by Rahma may be calculated mathematically.

Actual Islamic dates may differ depending on local moon sighting decisions, regional authorities, or religious organizations.

7. User Accounts

Certain features may require a Rahma account.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activities performed through your account.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and should update it when necessary.

You may not impersonate another person, access another user's account without authorization, interfere with the Service, or use Rahma for unlawful purposes.

8. Bookmarks, Progress and Memorization

Rahma may allow you to save reading positions, bookmarks, memorization progress, goals, notes, streaks, and similar personal information.

Although we take reasonable measures to preserve user information, we cannot guarantee that stored data will never be lost because of software errors, device failures, third-party failures, account issues, or events beyond our reasonable control.

9. Subscription Plans

Rahma may provide premium features through paid subscriptions.

Available subscriptions may include monthly individual subscriptions, yearly individual subscriptions, Family Plans, and other plans offered through Rahma.

Prices and subscription availability may vary by country, platform, currency, taxes, and application store.

The price displayed at the time of purchase will apply to the transaction.

10. Seven-Day Free Trial

Eligible users may receive a seven-day free trial.

Unless cancelled before the end of the trial period, the subscription may automatically convert into a paid subscription according to the plan selected by the user.

Trial eligibility may be limited to one trial per user, account, payment method, household, or application store account where permitted.

The exact trial and renewal terms displayed by Apple App Store or Google Play at purchase take precedence.

11. Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions may automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal deadline specified by Apple, Google, or another applicable payment platform.

Rahma does not control the exact time at which an application store charges a renewal.

You are responsible for managing your subscription through the platform from which it was purchased.

Deleting the application or deleting your Rahma account does not automatically cancel a subscription.

12. Refunds

Purchases made through Apple App Store or Google Play are generally subject to the refund policies of the respective store.

Rahma cannot directly approve certain refunds processed exclusively by those platforms.

13. Family Plan

A Family Plan may allow a specified number of family members to access premium Rahma features.

The maximum number of family members will be displayed before purchase.

Family Plans may not be resold, transferred commercially, shared publicly, or used to provide unauthorized access to unrelated third parties.

Rahma may restrict or terminate Family Plan access where abuse or fraudulent sharing is detected.

14. Acceptable Use

You may use Rahma only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes unless we provide written authorization otherwise.

You may not attempt to reverse engineer Rahma where prohibited, bypass subscription protections, misuse APIs or infrastructure, scrape content at scale, distribute malicious software, interfere with servers, attempt unauthorized access, copy proprietary material unlawfully, or use the Service in a manner that harms other users.

15. Intellectual Property

Rahma's application design, branding, logos, graphics, software, interfaces, original illustrations, and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to Quanite FZE, unless otherwise indicated.

Islamic source texts and third-party materials may be governed by separate rights.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of Rahma intellectual property to users.

16. Availability

We aim to keep Rahma available and reliable.

However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

Rahma may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical issues, service provider outages, network conditions, or circumstances beyond our control.

17. Changes to Features

We may modify, improve, suspend, replace, or discontinue features of Rahma.

Certain features may vary based on country, operating system, device capabilities, subscription plan, application version, or third-party availability.

18. Third-Party Services

Rahma may contain or rely on services, content, links, platforms, authentication providers, payment providers, or APIs operated by third parties.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies.

We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

19. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rahma is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that every feature, calculation, translation, religious reference, notification, synchronization event, or third-party service will always be accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Quanite FZE, its officers, employees, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of Rahma.

This includes, where legally permitted, losses resulting from service interruption, data loss, inaccurate device sensors, missed notifications, prayer-time differences, third-party failures, or unauthorized account access.

21. Termination

You may stop using Rahma at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access where a user materially violates these Terms, abuses the Service, attempts unauthorized access, commits fraud, or threatens the security or integrity of Rahma.

Termination of a Rahma account does not automatically cancel an application-store subscription.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when Rahma, applicable laws, business practices, or features change.

Material changes may be communicated through the application, website, email, or another appropriate method.

Continued use after updated Terms become effective may constitute acceptance where permitted by applicable law.

23. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights applicable in the user's country of residence.

Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
